Craig McLachlan and Spanish WAG and ‘model’ Elen Rivas were both voted off Dancing On Ice this week.

In the bottom three with McLachlan and Rivas was Hollyoaks actress Jennifer Metcalfe, who was saved on a second public vote after the skate-off.

None of the bottom three acts was particularly bad on a night where most of the contestants skated competently.  Perhaps the most wooden skater was Dave Vitty (Comedy Dave from the Chris Moyles Show) who is in the fortunate position to have the biggest radio audience in the UK to vote for him!

Craig McLachlan attracted the nastiest comment of the night from judge  Jason Gardiner, who said Craig’s tentative skating looked like he had a full diaper.

Elen Rivas did not do herself any favours in her VT. She came across  a tiny bit bonkers, in addition to not really having any proper ‘celeb’ credentials. Being Peter Andre’s girlfriend might not be a big selling point from many people.

Frontrunners from tonight’s show were clearly Sam Attwater, Chloe Madeley and Dominic Cork.
