16 year old contemporary dancer Lauren Hair from Greenock, Scotland showed off a fine figure and dance moves to match at her Sky TV Got To Dance audition.

However her mum does not think dancing is the career path Lauren should pursuit. She said: “Lauren just wants to dance and I want her to study and it causes real friction. I would rather it was a hobby than a career” her mum explains on tonight’s Got To Dance.

Defending her love for dance, Lauren explains “when I was younger my dream was to be a lawyer, but when I started dancing I realised that was my passion”

However her audition was a triumph, as she not only got 3 gold stars but also a standing ovation from Adam and Ashley. Adam said: “I was convinced four seconds into your routine.

“You are photographically perfect. Every motion was aesthetically gorgeous. You’re my favourite.”

Kimberly added: “You’re an unbelievable dancer. You’re all heart and soul. You’re definitely a front runner. You’re brilliant.”

Ashley told her: “Some people are born to do certain things. You were born to do that.

“The energy came out of your fingers and your toes. You’re my favourite contender so far.”
