X Factor star Cher Lloyd was forced to reschedule a planned performance at GAY, so that she could jet off to America.

The 17 year old singer finished fourth on the X Factor last month and had been booked to perform at the London club this Saturday night. However the gig has now been postponed so that she can travel to the US where insiders say she will start recording her debut album.

Club’s owner Jeremy Joseph put a statement on Facebook saying:

“Due to Cher Lloyd at short notice having fly to the US to record, this Sat performance has been moved to Sat 5th Feb.

“Everything was done to keep the date in, but this was the only opportunity for Cher to go to US due to X Factor tour dates. Sat 5th Feb, is 1st date back in UK & Cher has committed it to G-A-Y (sic).”
