James Tanner served up a tasty sausage, apple mustard mash, greens and gravy dish for the autumn on today’s episode of Lorraine.
The ingredients are: 200g or 1 large Bramley apple, peeled cored and roughly chopped, 380g mashed potato, 1 tbsp of grain mustard, Salt and pepper, 2 Cumberland sausage rings, 1 large onion, peeled and thinly sliced, 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup, 2 tbsp of balsamic vinegar, 100ml beef stock, ¼ head of cabbage, shredded, Knob of unsalted butter (optional), 1 tbsp chopped thyme and Olive oil for cooking.
