Si and Dave served up a Romanian curly pie for a tasty Eastern European supper on Hairy Bikers’ Bakeation.
The Bikers says: “These pies are served in Transylvanian cafés and they are a great roadside snack. They’re a bit like little pizzas really and you can pick your own filling. Very easy to make and they can be cooked in the oven or on top of the stove.”
The ingredients are: Pastry, 200ml sparkling mineral water, pinch salt, 1 tbsp sunflower oil, 270g plain flour, enough to form a soft dough, 2 eggs, beaten and 100ml plain yoghurt.
For the filling: ham, chorizo, cheese and mushrooms.
