Following her exit from this year’s X Factor, Mary Byrne has been tipped to earn millions after being “bombarded with a string of lucrative deals”.
According to the Daily Mail, 51-year-old Mary has been in touch with a number of brands, including Marks and Spencer.
The paper claims that the high-street brand would like to work with Mary, who – at size 20 – apparently has “much in common with the average M&S shopper”.
An X Factor source told the newspaper: “Mary is set to make a fortune on the back of the X Factor, she has become a star. She has even been offered a plus sized clothing range for a supermarket and Marks and Spencer have been in touch.
“They love her – who knows, she could be joining Twiggy and Myleene Klass on the adverts in time!’”
However mentor Louis Walsh joked: “Mary is Tesco through and through!”
