Tom Kitchin serves up a tasty seafood dish of plaice with shellfish and wild garlic on Saturday Kitchen.
Tom says: “If you are a fish lover then this is the recipe for you. Plaice topped with shellfish made extra special by the addition of wild garlic and herbs.”
The ingredients are: 2 whole plaice, 4 tbsp olive oil, 2 shallots, finely chopped, 200ml white wine, 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley, 200g mussels, cleaned and de-bearded (discard any that don’t close when gently tapped), 200g clams, cleaned, knob of butter, 100g squid, cleaned and cut into rings, 50g winkles, cleaned, 50g brown shrimp, cleaned, 1 lemon, juice only and bunch of wild garlic.
