John Whaite serves up posh beans on toast for a budget-beating recipe that won’t break the bank on Lorraine.
The ingredients are: 2 sausages, chopped into chunks (buy the best you can afford or use some chorizo),
1 onion, finely chopped,Butter for frying, 600g cooked butter beans, 1 garlic clove, grated, 1 heaped tsp ground coriander, 1 heaped tsp hot smoked paprika, 300ml chicken stock, 2 tbsp tomato puree and Pepper, to season.
For the cheesy toast: 1 clove garlic , Small loaf of bread, sliced, 100g medium mature Cheddar cheese, grated and Freshly chopped parsley, to serve.
