Tony’s rabbit with spinach and mushroom main course and chocolate fondant dessert impressed the judges on Masterchef.
The brief for meal was set by the straight-talking and incisive food critic Jay Rayner, who requested that this week’s quarter-finalist cook a main based on the following instructions – ‘I am looking for a dish that uses just a few ingredients, i.e. essentially three things on the plate, plus a sauce, if I’m being generous.’
Tony’s dishes impressed judges Gregg Wallace and John Torode enough to send him through to the next stage of the competition.
