Dean Edwards cooks a tasty Indian spiced ribs with coronation slaw dish for a great Friday night takeaway alternative on Lorraine.
The ingredients for the dry rub are: 2 tbs soft brown sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tbs garlic powder, 1 tbs ground black pepper, 1 tsp salt and 1 tbs ground garam masala.
Indian BBQ sauce: 1 onion, finely diced, 3 cloves garlic, crushed, Thumb sized piece ginger, grated, 200ml tomato ketchup, 4 tbs cider vinegar, 2 tbs dark brown sugar, 2 tbs soy sauce and 1 tbs garam masala.
Coronation coleslaw: ½ white cabbage, shredded, 1 red onion, very finely sliced, 1 large carrot, grated, 50g raisins, 3 tbs mayonnaise, 1 tbs cider vinegar vinegar, ¼ tsp turmeric and ½ tsp garam masala.
