Chinese style prawn balls with Asian greens recipe on Mel and Sue.
The ngredients are: 350g cooked prawns, deveined and washed (250g if combining with meat), 100g pork shoulder/chicken thighs minced (optional), 1 free-range egg, beaten, 2 tbsp cornflour, 50g Japanese panko breadcrumbs, 2 spring onions or 2 shallots, finely chopped, 2 garlic cloves, crushed, 1 tsp sesame oil, 2 tsp rice wine vinegar, 1tbsp fish sauce, 1 x 3cm piece of fresh ginger, peeled and grated, ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper, salt to taste, Japanese panko breadcrumbs for coating (optional) and Sunflower oil for frying.
For the Asian Greens: 450g greens (a mix of pak choi, purple sprouting broccoli, gai lan and green beans), 1 tbsp sunflower oil, 1 tsp grated fresh ginger, 1 green or red chilli, seeds removed, finely sliced, 1 garlic clove, crushed, 1 tbsp soy sauce and 2 tsp sesame oil.
