Dale Pinnock serves up parsnip soup with flapjacks for your digestive health on This Morning.
Dale says: “Parsnips contain a special type of sugar, which is responsible for the sweet flavour, called inulin. It is a potent prebiotic, meaning it is a food source for the good bacteria that lives in the gut.”
For his flapjacks, Dale used: 2 fresh apples – any sweet eating apple / avoid granny smith, 2 tablespoons of honey, 2 tablespoons of butter or coconut oil, 180g of porridge oats and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon.
