April Carter showed how to make natural cake decorations with rosemary and black berries on Daily Brunch with Simon Rimmer and Tim Lovejoy.
The baker and author loves making delicious and beautifully decorated cakes and combines her love of all things sweet with natural ingredients where possible.
Today she demonstrated how to make crystallised rosemary among others, for cake decoration. She used 250g caster sugar and 500g water to make a syrup to dip the rosemary in before sprinkling with sugar and placing on top of the cake.
