Simon Rimmer makes monkfish goujons with tartar sauce on Daily Brunch with Tim Lovejoy and special guest Sam and Mark form BBC Children TV.
Goujons are small strip of fish or chicken, coated in breadcrumbs and deep-fried.
The ingredients are: 2 eggs, beaten, 100g panko breadcrumbs, 100g polenta, 100g plain flour, 50ml vegetable oil, 450g monkfish tail or monkfish fillets, 200g mayonnaise, 75g salad cream, 50g yellow mustard, 100g gherkins, finely chopped, 100g capers, chopped, 2 tbsp dill, chopped, 2 tbsp parsley, to serve, 100ml tabasco sauce, to serve and 1 lime, to serve.
