Tom Kerridge makes Pittsburgh black-and-blue steak sandwich on Tom Kerridge’s Best Ever Dishes.
Tom says: “This classic American recipe uses the smaller, tender end of a beef fillet to create stupendous sandwiches.”
The ingredients are: 2 x 250g beef fillet tails, trimmed of fat, cut in half lengthways, 1 tsp ground coriander, 2 tsp chilli flakes, 1 tsp cracked black peppercorns, 1 tsp dried oregano, 1 tsp ground mace, 1 tsp ground dried bay leaf, 2 garlic cloves, peeled and grated, 1 tbsp sea salt flakes, 4 tbsp vegetable oil, 50g butter and 2 crusty bread rolls, buttered.
