On day three of Junior MasterChef judges John Torode and Donal Skehan paved the way for the young cooks showcasing their ultimate Salad dishes.
The junior cooks must serve up their own salad dishes in 50 minutes to impress John and Donal.
Meet the young cooks:
Mya 9, from Middlesex
Hugo 9, from Chesterfield
Treasure 11, from Bristol
Kit 11, from Somerset.
In their second and final task, the junior cooks must serve up a two course meal to wow the judges. John Torode and Donal Skehan will then decided who’s plates of food stands out from the crowd enough to progress the young cook to the next stage of the competition.
After a great day doing battle in the kitchen to try to win over the judges, all the young cooks did very well with their dishes but it was Mya that the judges selected to go through to the semi-finals.
