Tom Kerridge visited The Joint restaurant in Brixton, London, for his Tom Kerridge’s Best Ever Dishes series and was impressed with their barbecue sauce secret ingredients that made their burgers taste extra tasty.
The restaurant was opened in 2012 as a pop-up restaurant by Warren Dean and Daniel Fiteni, and they specialises in creating simple fast barbecue style food with a twist.
They revealed that the key ingredient in their BBQ sauce that is spread on their burgers is a smoked demerara sugar.
