Tom Kerridge serves up a tasty seventies favourite chicken kievs dish on Tom Kerridge’s Best Ever Dishes as part of his ‘Old Skool Favourites’ recipes.
Tom says: “This decadent retro dish is as perfect for an everyday supper as it is for impressing friends at a dinner party. Serve with a crisp salad or steamed greens.”
The ingredients are: 100g butter, softened, 2 garlic cloves, peeled and grated, 1 tsp table salt, ½ tsp cayenne pepper, 3 tbsp chopped fresh parsley, 2 large skinless chicken breasts, 150g plain flour, 2 large free-range eggs, 150g Japanese panko breadcrumbs, vegetable oil, for shallow frying and pinch sea salt flakes.
