Storm Lee became the third act to leave in this year’s X Factor Live shows following his rendition of “Born To Run” on Saturday.

Storm polled the lowest number of votes from the public and so was immediately eliminated.

Storm commented ‘I just want everyone who ever believe in something to never ever give up, because you’ve not seen the best of me yet!’.

Simon Cowell was potentially in the unenviable position of having to choose between two off his acts following the sing off between Diva Fever and Belle Amie in the bottom three. In the event, Cheryl, Dannii and Louis all voted to send Diva Fever home, meaning Simon was saved from that nightmare vote.

After singing “I Will Survive” they simply didn’t, they became the fourth act to be voted off the show. The duo made it through to the live finals on a wildcard in show one but I am not sure Simon believed in them all that much given the songs he selected for them to sing. Now Simon only have two groups left in the competition and they are the ones he created at bootcamp, Belle Amie and One Direction.

Given the historic record of girl groups on the X Factor, it might not be too long before he only has one group left.
