Brian Turner makes a delicious cherry cream slice cake on A Taste Of Britain for his celebration cook paying tribute to the produce of Kent.

Brian and Janet Street-Porter toured the county on today’s episode of A Taste Of Britain and stopped of at
Brogdale at peak cherry season where Brian managed to source the cherries for his dessert.

Brogdale is home to the largest collection of fruit trees in the country with over 4000 varieties. With over 300 varieties of cherry trees, Brian had plenty of choice when it came to select which cherries to use for his cherry slice cake.
