Brian Turner serves up roast crown of chicken with a wholemeal pancake stack that looks a winning recipe on A Taste Of Britain.
Brian and Janet visit Suffolk on today’s show and made their way to the world-class poultry at Sutton Hoo where they take over the farmhouse kitchen for his celebration dish – roast crown of chicken with a wholemeal pancake stack and roast chicken legs, using flour ground by Janet at Woodbridge tide mill.
The mill is a rare example of a tide mill whose water wheel still turns and is capable of grinding a wholemeal flour.
Brian used his cooking expertise to come up with a dish making use of the flour that is a tribute to the local area.
