Tom Kitchen put three more young chefs to the test with his langoustine tail, mushroom and spinach starter followed by asparagus with a poached egg and an asparagus jus starter on The Chef’s Protégé.
18-year-old Shaun, 21-year-old Calum and 20-year-old Harriet took turns to try to impress Tom in the kitchen cooking with these fresh ingredients on the first dish before the cook off on Tom’s second dish.
The nervous protégé did all they could with the dishes but in the end it was Shaun and Harriet that impressed the most in the kitchen and moved on to the next round.
