Mary Berry chocolate truffle tart with Irish cream liqueur and crunchy biscuit base recipe on Mary’s Foolproof Dinners

Claudia Winkleman joined Mary Berry to serve up a delicious chocolate truffle tart with chocolate mousse filling, Irish cream liqueur and a crunchy biscuit base on Mary’s Foolproof Dinners.

The ingredients for the base are: 100g butter, plus extra for greasing, 135g dark chocolate, minimum 40% cocoa solids, broken into pieces, 2 tbsp golden syrup and 165g Nice biscuits.

For the chocolate mousse filling: 180g dark chocolate, minimum 40% cocoa solids, broken into pieces, 100g caster sugar, 4 tbsp Irish cream liqueur and 300ml double cream.

For the decoration: 12 chocolate truffles, or chocolate treat of your choice, icing sugar, to dust and double cream, to serve (optional).
