Georgina Hayden served up tasty little meat pies (kreatopita) with tomato, avocado and anchovies salad (honeymoon tomatoes) on Saturday Kitchen.

The ingredients are: olive oil, 100g butter, 500g mince (beef and lamb are traditional, but some people add pork), 1 onion, finely chopped, 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped, 2 leeks, trimmed, finely sliced and washed well, 1 tsp ground cinnamon, 1 tsp ground coriander, 1 tsp cumin seeds, roughly crushed, 2 tbsp tomato puree, 1 tsp caster sugar, 15g fresh flatleaf parsley, stalks and leaves finely chopped, 400ml beef stock, 300g filo pastry, sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.

For the dressed tomatoes: 600g tomatoes, chopped into small pieces, 1 garlic clove, finely grated, 1 red onion, finely sliced, 2 tbsp red wine vinegar, ½ tsp caster sugar, 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, ½ bunch fresh Greek or regular basil, leaves picked (larger leaves torn), 2 ripe avocados, peeled and sliced, 8 anchovy fillets in oil, sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.
