Big Zuu served up a delicious sticky coffee pudding with banana custard on Sunday Brunch.
The ingredients are: 220g chopped medjool dates, 220ml fresh coffee from plunger, 1tsp bicarbonate of soda, 90g softened butter, 2tbsp black treacle, 75g light brown sugar, 2 large eggs, 150g plain flour and 2tsp baking powder.
For the sauce: 175g butter, 315g soft light brown sugar, 200ml double cream and Shot of strong coffee.
For the banana custard: 250ml milk, 250ml double cream, 4 egg yolks and 6tbsp banana milkshake powder.
