Joh Torode posted on his twitter feed the following recipe; 100 buttermilk, 200 milk, 1 egg, 1tsp bicarcb, 175 self raising flour, pinch of salt & sugar, 50g melted butter. Hope that helps!
I agree Shirley. John definitely had milk in his bowl prior to adding the eggs. Can we guestimate how much?
I can’t wait for this recipe to be available, but I’m sure he already had whole milk in the bowl at the start, before he added the eggs, sugar, salt, and buttermilk, yet it isn’t listed on your ingredients. is it possible to find out if this is correct, and if so, how much milk he used ?!?!?
