Nadiya Hussain served up a delicious Dutch inspired babka loaf with sprinkle butter and golden syrup glaze on Nadiya’s Everyday Baking.
The ingredients for the dough are: 275g plain flour, plus extra for dusting, 5g fast-action yeast, 20g caster sugar, ¼ tsp salt, 2 free-range eggs, beaten, 50ml whole milk and 80g unsalted butter, softened, plus extra for greasing.
For the sprinkle butter: 100g unsalted butter, softened, 100g caster sugar, 140g sprinkles, plus 20g extra for the top.
For the glaze: 3 tbsp golden syrup and 1 tbsp hot water.
