Nadiya Hussain showcased her tasty oven roasted onion curry with spiced tomato and tamarind sauce on The One Show with the recipe taken from her new book ‘Everyday Baking’.
The ingredients are: 50g clarified butter (ghee), 5 onions, halved and 1 teaspoon salt.
For the sauce: 5 cloves of garlic, 6 tomatoes, peeled and chopped, 1 tablespoon tomato puree, 2 tablespoons tamarind paste, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon curry powder and 1 teaspoon chilli powder.
To serve: basmati rice, fresh coriander and double cream.
