American Storm Lee Gardner made it through to the judge’s houses stage of this year’s X Factor after winning over two of the judges with his performances.

Simon Cowell is still the one judge that Storm as failed to impress both at bootcamp and during his first audition. At the first audition, Simon took issue with his name, because the 37 year old who was born in Scotland but lives in LA, changed his name from Lee to Storm. Simon thought it was a stupid idea and refused to call him Storm.

After seeing his performance at Wembley Arena, the talent show supremo admitted he does not like the contestant.

Storm’s version of Sweet Child O’ Mine had Simon rolling his eyes and describing him as ‘so annoying’.
But Simon confessed that Storm may just have something, but only if he could ‘put his voice in someone else’s body’.

Despite Simon’s doubts, Storm made it through to the next round in the over-28s category, as Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger both loved him.
