Gamu Nhengu delivered the performance of her life at bootcamp singing ‘Make You Feel My Love’ by Adele.

The 18 year old from Zimbawee now living in Scotland, sang with such tenderness and emotion that she moved Louis Walsh to tears during her performance. He said to Simon: “I felt it!”

At bootcamp, Gamu spoke about her journey to the show saying:
“I originally come from Zimbawee and my mum moved us here because things were getting really bad there. It got to the point when it was hard to get simple things like bread and milk, I’ve wanted to be a singer since I was about ten. It’s the thing that I’m good at, it’s the thing that I love. I’m doing it for me but if I could get to a point where I could support my mum and she wouldn’t have to work so hard that would be amazing.”

It remains to be seen if Gamu will feature in Cheryl’s line up for the live shows – Cheryl is the mentor of the girls category this year.
