Nadiya Hussain served up tasty a thirty-clove garlic chicken stew with olives, lemon and roti jalla pancakes on Nadiya’s Fast Flavours.
The ingredients are: 30 garlic cloves (approx. 3 bulbs), unpeeled, 2 brown onions, peeled and quartered (about 210g), 1½ tsp salt, 3 tsp smoked paprika, 3 tsp garam masala, 1½ tsp tomato puree, 3 tbsp vegetable oil, 1 lemon, halved, 1.2kg whole chicken, quartered on the bone, skin removed and flesh scored and 50g black olives, thinly sliced.
For the roti jalla: 200g chickpea flour, sifted, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp onion seeds, 4 medium free-range eggs, 250ml full-fat milk and 2 tbsp vegetable oil, plus extra for greasing the pan.
