Mary Berry served up a delicious dark chocolate paradise cake with apricot jam and Belgian white and Bournville dark chocolate shards on love To cook.
The ingredients are: 120g Bournville dark chocolate, broken into pieces, 30g cocoa powder, sifted, 4 tbsp boiling water, 200g baking spread, straight from the fridge, plus extra for greasing, 3 large eggs, 100g caster sugar, 100g light muscovado sugar, 175g self-raising flour, 2 tbsp milk and 2 tbsp apricot jam, warmed.
For the ganache icing: 200g double cream and 200g Bournville dark chocolate, broken into pieces.
For the decoration: 100g Bournville dark chocolate, 200g Belgian continental white chocolate and icing sugar, to dust.
