This year Dannii Minogue was given the boys category to mentor by The X Factor producers. Dannii was delighted when she heard the news,  stating that she feels this year she has a real chance of winning.

Last year Dannii mentored the girls category but only Stacey Sullivan finished in the top 4 acts. This time around Dannii may just have been dealt a stronger hand, but with 8 boys and only 3 to go through to the live finals, Dannii might find making that decision a little tougher this year. The boys are:

Marlon Mckenzie

Tom Richards

John Wilding

Aiden Grimshaw

Paije Richardson

Karl Brown

Nicolo Festa

Matt Cardle.

Due to Dannii being on maternity leave during the audition and bootcamp stages of the competition, she met the boys for the first time when they jetted off to see her in Melbourne Australia.  This weekend we will see who goes through to the live finals on ITV1.
