Nadiya Hussain served up delicious sweet nachos with chillies, chocolate, vanilla cream, pecans, star anise, cinnamon and orange on Nadiya’s American Adventure.
The ingredients are: vegetable oil, for deep-frying, 2 oranges, zested and cut into segments, 150g caster sugar, 175ml double cream, 1 tsp vanilla paste, 35g icing sugar, 1½ tsp ground cinnamon, 2 star anise, crushed, 100g dark chocolate, broken into pieces, 4 medium flour tortillas, each cut into 3 strips, then into triangles, 75g pecans, roughly chopped and 2 red chillies, thinly sliced, seeds in or out depending on how hot they are, or a pinch dried chilli flakes, to taste (optional).
