John Torode Onion Bhajis with Green Chilli and Coriander Dip recipe on John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen

John Torode and Lisa Faulkner served up tasty onion bhajis with a green chilli and coriander dip on John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen.

The ingredients: 2 large white onions, sliced and soaked in milk (soaked for approx 1 hour), Salt and freshly ground black pepper , A good shake of turmeric and A little gram flour.

For the batter: 200gs Gram Flour (chickpea flour), 100g Rice flour, 2 small green chilli, pounded or thinly sliced and 125g Water.

For the dip: Small bunch of mint, Bunch or coriander, 3 small green chillies, 1 small shallot, chopped, ½ tsp Garam Marsala, Pinch of Cayenne Pepper, ½ tsp Mango Powder (you could use mango chutney.), Juice of one lemon, Salt and Pepper.
