Lisa Faulkner fantasy cake with strawberries recipe on John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen

Lisa Faulkner served up a delicious fantasy cake with strawberries on John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen.

The ingredients are: 175g unsalted butter, softened, 150g caster sugar, 150g self–raising flour, sifted, 2 eggs, 3 to 4 tablespoons milk, 100g ground almonds, 1 teaspoon almond essence, 400g strawberries and raspberries (you could also use blackberries or blueberries) and icing sugar to dust.
