Phil Vickery served up delicious American-style sweet and savoury pancakes with buttermilk and blueberries on This Morning.
The ingredients are: 200g self raising flour, 85g fine cornmeal, 2 tbsp caster sugar, Pinch of salt, 1 medium egg, 1 carton of buttermilk, approx. 300mls and 350g blueberries (optional).
For a gluten-free version use: 115g fine rice flour, Pinch salt, ½ tsp gluten-free baking powder, 1 medium egg, 1½ tbsp sunflower oil, 284ml carton buttermilk, 3 tbsp olive oil, 55g butter, melted, unsalted and 200g fresh blueberries.
Serve with your choice of toppings.
