Mary Berry served up a delicious banoffee pie with digestive biscuits and condensed milk on Classic Mary Berry.
The ingredients for the base are: 150g digestive biscuits (about 10) and 75g butter.
For the toffee filling: 75g butter, 75g light muscovado sugar, 1 x 397g full-fat condensed milk (see tip) and 1 tsp vanilla extract.
For the topping: 300ml double cream, 3 small just-ripe bananas, sliced and 50g dark chocolate, melted or cocoa powder.
