Mary Berry served up a tasty light kedgeree with basmati rice, mushrooms and cream for breakfast on Classic Mary Berry.
The ingredients are: 400g undyed smoked haddock fillet, skin on, 30g butter, 2 tbsp olive oil, 1 onion, chopped, 300g basmati rice, 1 tbsp curry powder, 1 tsp ground turmeric, 500ml-600ml vegetable stock, 150g button mushrooms, sliced, juice of 1 small lemon, 4 tbsp double cream, salt and freshly ground black pepper.
To garnish: 1 large onion, sliced thinly, 3 large eggs and ½ small bunch of coriander, chopped.
