James Martin Yorkshire parkin with syrup and clotted cream recipe

James Martin served up a delicious Yorkshire parkin with syrup and clotted cream on James Martin’s Saturday Morning.

The ingredients are: 100g butter, 1 egg, 4 tbsp milk, 175g golden syrup, 50g treacle, 100g light soft brown sugar, 80g oats, 100g self-raising flour, 1 tsp ground ginger, ½ tsp ground nutmeg and ½ tsp mixed spice.

For the sauce: 200g golden syrup, 50ml dry cider and ½ tsp mixed spice.

Clotted cream to serve.
