Nigel Slater showed a great way to make use of left over Brussels sprouts on today’s episode of Christmas Kitchen with James Martin.
Nigel simply mashes sprouts with cooked parsnips with seasoning in a bowl. He then creates several dumpling like balls to which he adds cheese to the centre.
He then folds and rolls the dumplings in a coating of flour before firing them on both sides for a few minuites until the surface starts to crisp.
