Today in Christmas Kitchen with James Martin, celebrity chef Lorraine Pascale served up a delicious looking vegetarian nut roast pie with cranberries.
To make the filling for her pie, Lorraine use a range of ingredients that includes; olive oil, leeks, rosemary, thyme, garlic cloves, chestnut mushrooms, sage leaves, mixed nuts, Gruyère, free-range eggs, dried cranberries and frozen cranberries.
Lorraine says that “although this is a veggie roast, it truly is a meal fit for a king. I admit this is not the shortest of recipes, but it is really satisfying to make and the pastry is brilliantly quick and simple.”
