Darren Mcgrady served up Gleneagles pate with lyers of smoked salmon, mackerel and trout on Royal Recipes with Michael Buerk.
Darren says: “This is one of the dishes I prepared for the the Royal family at Balmoral.”
The ingredients consists of: 2lb smoked salmon, thinly sliced and divided, 1lb smoked trout, 11⁄2lb unsalted butter, softened and divided, 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh dill, 1 tsp lemon juice 1lb smoked mackerel and 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh chives.
