Recipes by Marcus and Monica, test the cooking skills of Max, Adam, Ruaraidh, Nina, Matt and Simon on MasterChef: The Professionals.

The six professional chefs were all hoping to impress Marcus Wareing, Monica Galetti and Gregg Wallace with their cooking in order to book a place in the quarter finals of the competition.

The first task set by Monica for Max, Adamand and Ruaraidh, was for them to prepare a tagliatelle carbonara, while Nina, Matt and Simon had to impress serving up a taramasalata pasta dish for their skills test set by Marcus.
