Gregg Wallace and Clair Hoyland served up tasty chilli steak with jacket potatoes on Eat Well for Less.
The ingredients are: 3 baking potatoes, washed and dried, 4 tsp rapeseed oil, salt, to bake the potatoes on (optional), 1½ tsp ground cumin, 1½ tsp ground coriander, ½ tsp ground cinnamon, 1½ tsp mild chilli powder, 300g sirloin or rump steak, fat removed, cut into 1cm thick strips, 1 red onion, thinly sliced, 1 red pepper, sliced, 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped or grated, ½ – 1 red chilli (depending on how hot you like your food), seeds removed, sliced, 1 x 400g tin chopped tomatoes, 1 tbsp roughly chopped coriander leaves, sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.
To serve: 100g soured cream, 45g grated mature cheddar and 30g sliced jalapenos.
