The final six bakers kicked off this week’s signature bake with suet puddings. This was a menu from something out of a 1950s school dining hall.
For some this was a simple enough challenge, but Mary issued dire warnings about liquid content and Paul as usual was concerned about texture.
Glenn served up a Prunes and Armagnac pudding that was quite booze and soaked in butterscotch sauce.
The judges loved the pudding although the sauce was a little too heavy on the booze even for Mary, however in a role-reversal the usually alcohol-averse Paul loved it.
