The X Factor Big Twist has finally been revealed and it\u2019s a good one.<\/p>\n<p>This weekend there will be no public vote, instead the judges will choose four finalists to leave after only one performance.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore at the end of the first week, only twelve of the sixteen acts will remain and will go on to face the public vote each week as normal.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0We understand that the contestants were delivered the news yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>Gary Barlow said: \u201cWe thought rather than wait until Saturday night we\u2019ll talk about the twist. This is The X Factor stage \u2013 it\u2019s one thing singing by the pool but it all changes here. This is where stars are born, like Leona \u2013 it\u2019s all going to feel very different on Saturday.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to the acts, Kelly revealed: \u201cWe want you to put your best foot forward, make the decision hard for us and let us know why you need to stay.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile Louis Walsh added: \u201cIt\u2019s a level playing field \u2013 we want to see your passion, we want to see a star, it\u2019s all to play for.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Reassuring the hopefuls, Tulisa said: \u201cPlease understand all of you that none of us have made our decision.
