They returned to the show this year in the hope that Kaz\u2019s visa issues could be resolved.<\/p>\n<p>However when it looked like they wouldn&#8217;t be sorted in time for Judges\u2019 Houses once again, the group decided to continue as a duo.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/xfactor\/files\/2013\/10\/roughcopy.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/xfactor\/files\/2013\/10\/roughcopy.png\" alt=\"rough copy new york judges houses\" title=\"rough copy new york\" width=\"602\" height=\"350\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3020\" srcset=\"http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/xfactor\/files\/2013\/10\/roughcopy.png 602w, http:\/\/thetalentzone.co.uk\/musictv\/xfactor\/files\/2013\/10\/roughcopy-300x174.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 602px) 100vw, 602px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The two lads travelled to New York to perform for Gary Barlow and guest judge Olly Murs, but they admitted it was emotional to be without their friend and told Dermot O\u2019Leary:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was emotional, we have been together for five years. Kaz put us together, he found us, bugged us until we joined the group, every ideawe have ever had has been as a three, to now be as a two is just crazy weird.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The duo added:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will always be a three it\u2019s just that there\u2019s two left here to carry the weight. He\u2019s relying on us to bring the good news. Gary has given us this opportunity and we want to show him we were worth the chance.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The boys performed a rendition of \u2018Boyfriend\u2019 by Justin Bieber with hope of booking a place in the live shows.<\/p>\n<p>Gary enjoyed the performance but felt something was missing. He said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019re great, they are great. But the most memorable Rough Copy performances for me is when there\u2019s a three. I have got to judge them on the fact that there\u2019s two of them so they have to beat everybody else as a two.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Olly Murs, who was assisting the Take That star added:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are only two of them.
