Maths teacher John Adams took sometime away from his pupils and took to the X Factor stage to show off his singing ability. Adams storming rendition of Cannonball by Damien Rice at his audition proved to be an instant hit with Judge Gary Barlow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before taking to the stage he said:
\n\u201cI\u2019ve only been teaching a year, so it\u2019s still quite a relatively new career. Obviously if I done well in The X Factor, I\u2019ve love to follow the dream of becoming a singer.\u201d
\nThe former Mr Wales adds: \u201cWinning this competition would mean a lot to me I want people to know who I am, know my music, and for strangers to sing my songs, so I\u2019ll hopefully go out and do my best.\u201d
\nOn stage Tulisa was quite taken by John, flirting with him: \u201cIf I may so, you are a rather handsome young fellow.\u201d<\/p>\n
