\"LucyThe X Factor auditions have only just got started on our TV screens but already one young hopefully have got an iTunes hit single on her hands.<\/p>\n

Singer-songwriter Lucy Spraggan<\/a> appeared on ITV show at the weekend and performed her self-penned track ‘Last Night’ in front of the judges.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The 20-year-old explained that the song was about “beer fear”, the worry of waking up the morning after a night of heavy drinking.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As of Sunday evening, ‘Last Night’ has climbed up to number three in the iTunes download chart, below Sam and the Womp’s ‘Bom Bom’ and last year’s X Factor winners Little Mix.<\/p>\n

Spraggan self-released ‘Last Night’ on her album Top Room at the Zoo last year.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

She tweeted earlier today: “Number 5. You lot are absolutely amazing. #beerfear.”<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The singer made it through to the bootcamp stage of the show, so we can expect to hear more from Lucy in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n
